Other People's Blog

If you want another very effective and efficient social media, it is commenting on other people's blogs. People do not notice this. This is an opportunity for you. This has few competition. But this is a highly effective way to boost your visibility. When you post on other people's blogs, you may quickly and efficiently snatch or leverage the success and audience of other blogs.

Plan your technique before you begin to post. You should make a list of about 20 blogs in your niche that is interesting and will catch attention to readers since you want a site where people will come into your industry.

When you do this, keep in mind to have different goals. An instance is that when you want to establish a relationship with the blogger or other bloggers in your niche, your aim is to make yourself as an expert. Another, when you want attention from Google, create backlinks. Your own site to have whatever, your goal is accomplished by reading posts, making interesting and useful comments, and you can build on the conversations that is already going on.

See to it that everyday for 15 minutes you visit some of the blogs on your list and read the posts. Make relevant comments if needed. Provide links back to your blog. When you do, the following rules could be effective:

1. Keep in mind that you are in others blog. As such, you must be gracious. Be supportive, kind and polite. Be tactful when you disagree with other bloggers. Do not spoil the conversation.

2. Make sure your posts do not sound spam. Comments like, "Great posts, thanks!" are generally considered spam. Try to comment with additional idea or context on the topic. Be specific too.

3. Do not be sidetracked. Listen to the scenario I read, and I quote: "You and a friend are at Starbucks, sitting and sipping your lattes, chatting about the best place to buy a digital camera". If someone at the next table pulled up a chair and said, "I sell ink cartridges -- wanna see?". You'd like roll your eyes and move as far from him as possible.

You would sure love your business grow and succeed. It's not an easy as you may think commenting on other people's blogs. It will not make you easily rich but it's a great and effective way to build strong relationships with others, with the customers in your industry. It will help.
