Image-Sharing Sites

A sand-artist from the Philippines was posted on YouTube and out of the strokes of his hands and sand a picture was drawn. There is a saying that goes like this: "A picture is worth a thousand words." And if it so, how much will it worth then the pictures or images and photographs posted on Flickr.com, Photobucket.com, ImageShack.com, and other image-sharing sites. Many would think that image-sharing sites are simply sharing images or photos but, it's not just that. Image-sharing sites are places to connect with others who share some of your addiction. Image-sharing sites provides you a great opportunity for your business specially to those people who are in photography, arts, graphic or web-design or some other related business.

First very important thing that you have to do is to create a compelling profile so as to snatch attention from viewers. Having done so, a way to get connected with you must be made. Your profile then, should include a link to your website or blog, and a description of your products or services.

In 15 minutes a day, the following are what you can do to use image-sharing sites to find and connect with your targeted audience having created your profile.

  • Spend two minutes uploading new images to your site with the best material. The image should properly express or show your brand and personality.
  • In three minutes, describe your images. Put tags on the images which your contacts will use as they search for images.
  • In three minutes, write descriptions for your images. Words must be clear and vivid. Link them to your site or blog.
  • In four minutes, locate new groups to join and sign up. Do this by searching groups by keyword. See to it that you add your images to your new groups after you joined.
  • In three minutes, make comments on images from your contacts and co-group members.

To get the attention of others you have to provide your best image. Concentrate on quality over quantity.
